WAYS TO GET RID OF OILY FACE
Managing oily face is really a challenge, especially for people having large pores. Too much oil on face can be due to hormonal changes, medication side effects, genetics and stress. The oiliness can worsen during menstrual period or menopause. Excess oil on your skin may lead to acne, whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples. While oily skin is annoying, there are natural home remedies to reduce the shiny appearance of your oily face and draw out the excess oil. The key is to treat your oily skin gently and avoid irritating it.
SOME NATURAL WAYS TO TREAT OILY FACE
- YOGURT :- Yogurt is one of the most popular home remedies for oily face, because it contains lactic acid, which can aid in exfoliating the skin. Apply 1 tbsp. of plain yogurt on your face. Let the yogurt stay on your face for 15 minutes and then wash with cool water. Do this process once a day. Another option is mixing organic yogurt with some ground oatmeal and1 tsp. of warm honey. Gently apply this on the face. Let it stand for 10-15 minutes and wash with warm water afterwards.
- TEA TREE OIL :- Tea tree oil is considered to be the number one essential oil for acne treatment and pimples on oily skin. Tea tree oil has anti-bacterial properties which makes it ideal for fighting the bacteria that cause acne. It also helps to treat inflammation and reduce redness. If you have developed acne or pimples as a result of your oily face, spot treatment with tea tree oil may help treat it. You can use tea tree oil on a cotton swab for small areas and apply it directly to pimples.
- APPLE CIDER VINEGAR :- Apple cider vinegar is great in exfoliating the skin. There are many benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar. Applying apple cider vinegar is best done before going to bed. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes, then wash with cool water. To see good results, you have to do this remedy for at least 3 weeks. If you have sensitive skin, add a half cup of water into the apple cider vinegar. During summer, you can freeze the vinegar into ice cubes, and then apply it to your face.
- FACIAL MASK :- There are many natural face mask for oily skin ,one of them is apple face mask. creating your own apple facial at home can be rewarding for your oily face. To create apple facial, mashed the apple until you have a ½ cup. Combine ½ mashed apple with ½ cup of cooked oatmeal, 1 egg white and 1 tbsp. of lemon juice. Mix well the ingredients to create a paste. Apply the paste in your face for about 15 minutes, and then wash your face with cool water.
- TOMATOES :- There are many skin benefits of vitamin c .Tomatoes are effective in reducing oiliness due to its astringent compounds. It is rich in vitamin C, which is helpful for skin that has acne problems. Naturally, tomatoes have oil-absorbing acids, which can remove excessive oil. Cut the tomato and rub it in face. Allow the tomato juice soak in your skin for 15 minutes and then wash your face with cold water. Pat dry and apply some moisturizer. For best results, you can also add some honey to tomato juice.
